WELCOME TO DRAMA SOCIETY
Our East-London campus based Drama Society welcomes all types of students from all campuses of University of East London.
If you are interested in performance, music, theatre and drama, you came to the right place.
This year at the Drama Society we will create an extraordinary piece of performance including your stories and your world. Even if you have never been part of any form of theater, don't worry for a second, we will provide all the support that you need.
This is a great opportunity to push your limits, to step out of your comfort zone, to meet new people and to find a community.

This year our group creates a unique performance in which the members and participants can be scriptwriters, actors directors, organizers. Explore your limits, the true nature of your body and soul and experience working in a welcoming group where the limit is only your imagination.

IMPROV NIGHTS
Be yourself - be someone else
With our Improv nights, people will have the chance to exercise their mind in ways they never have before. If you fancy a night out with amazing people, if you like acting and improvisation, this event series was created for you. Look out for more details and follow us on social media.

Applications are open to the Drama Society 2016/17 season. The rehearsals will begin on the 3rd of November at UEL USS campus. If you are interested, don't hesitate to contact us for further information.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE CAN I SEE THE DRAMA SOCIETY PERFORM?
Our first planned performance will be held at the National Student Drama Festival in April, 2017.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO APPLY?
Application and member fees are free at the Drama Society, however we may ask you to chip in with your travelling or accommodation fees for a planned performance or festival.
CAN I ATTEND THE DRAMA SOCIETY EVEN IF I HAVEN'T DONE ACTING?
Of course you can. Everybody who is currently enrolled at UEL can join us, we welcome all students.
IS THE DRAMA SOCIETY AN OFFICIAL SOCIETY AT UEL?
Yes, we are a registered Society at the Student Union. You can find us on the website of UEL, but if you require further information, don't hesitate to contact us.
